Love Dalessandro’s, it's my favorite classic cheesesteak! They only have outdoor seating now, but still worth a visit. A perk? They've got a pepper bar with hots, sweets, and dried peppers.
Another to add to your list (when you've got a rental car, and got a reason to go to the suburbs) is Little Sicily Pizza in Bridgeport (King of Prussia, PA) - they've got a *garlic bread* cheesesteak that you won't forget.
My only beef (pun intended) with a Philly Cheese steak is that I'd like the bread more crispy/crunchy. Other than that, never had a "bad" Philly CS.
Hot tip:
The Cheese steak bar at the famous Elektra food hall in Warsaw is soooooo good considering it's not in Philly.
Great read, Ed!
