Operation BBQ Relief - Final Update

Round 3

Well, unfortunately we didn’t win the contest (made the top 5), but we did win in raising money for a great cause. Just last week, OBR provided 4,850 hot meals to Veterans and Military Service Members across 12 states in honor of Veterans Day.

Overall the event raised $6,000+ and we accounted for over $1,200 of that amount.

I would like to sincerely thank all of you that donated as well as those that cheered me on! I’m still thinking we need to have a get together to try out the burger.

Next time, I’m going to involve you all and put a poll together on which type of burger to submit. I have learned I need to put personal preferences aside and create something that will wow the judges. Oh it’s on!
